Prague, Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is a landlocked country in Central Europe. The country is bordered by Poland to the north, Germany to the west, Austria to the south, and Slovakia to the east. Its capital and largest city, with 1.3 million inhabitants, is Prague. Prague is home to a number of well-known cultural attractions, many of which survived the violence and destruction of 20th-century Europe. The city has more than ten major museums, along with numerous theaters, galleries, cinemas, and other historical exhibits. Prague is famous for well-preserved castles, Baroque and Gothic cathedrals, medieval squares, dreamy bridges, nightlife spots, and lively arts scenes.
