Juergen Unfried

Sir Prof. Ruggero Maria Santilli

Sir Ruggero M. Santilli obtained his Ph. D. in theoretical physics at the University of Torino, Italy in 1965; he then emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1967 where he was on the faculty of the University of Miami, Boston University, MIT, and Harvard University under financial support from NASA, UFOSR and DOE. In 1991 he accepted the position of President and Professor at the Institute for Basic Research in Florida. He is the author of 345 papers published in refereed journals and twenty post Ph. D. monographs in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology; he is the Editor of a number of scientific journals in mathematics and physics and was awarded twelve U. S. patents. He is internationally known for developing new mathematics (known as Lie-admissible, Lie-isotopic and isodual mathematics) for the construction of hadronic mechanics, chemistry and biology, and for the verification of the 1935 Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen argument that "quantum mechanics is not a complete theory." These discoveries lead to the prediction of new technologies, incompatible with quantum mechanics but fully compatible with hadronic mechanics, which he developed as Chief Scientist at various U. S. publicly traded and private companies. AWARDS AND NOMINATIONS. Ruggero Maria Santilli was knighted with the title of Sir on September 8, 2011, by the Republic of San Marino with the Membership in the Millenary Equestrian Order of Sant’Agata. Additionally, Sir R.M. Santilli has received: the Gold Medal from the Universite' d'Orleans, France, on January 6, 1982; the Nomination among the most illustrious applied mathematicians if all times by the Estonia Academy of Sciences in June 9, 1990; a dedication to his name of a lecture hall by the Australian Science and Research Center on September 9, 1992; the Scientific Prize of the Mediterranean Foundation on January 2, 2009; the award of the U. S. Sons of Italy on June 6, 2010; the Scientific Prize of Kathmandu University, Nepal, on January 7, 2011; the Honorary Membership in the European Society of Computational Methods in Science and Engineering on September 21, 2011; the Molinari Peace Price from the Mediterranean Foundation on July 7, 2015; the Frey International Sustainability Award on November 9, 2016; and the "Stella d'Italia" (Star of Italy) with the title of "Cavaliere" from the Italian President Sergio Mattarella on May 31, 2018. Prof. Dr. Hosam Bayoumi Hamuda

Prof. Dr Hosam Bayoumi Hamuda is working at Óbuda University, Faculty of Light Industry and Environmental Engineering, Institute of Environmental Engineering (Budapest, Hungary). He worked as Senior Researcher and deputy director of Research Group for Environmental Microbiology of Hungarian Academy of Sciences-Gödöllő University of Agricultural Sciences, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences-Szent István University (Budapest). Briefly, He received the degrees of B.Sc. (Chemistry and Botany), M.Sc. (Biological Sciences), University Doctor (Agricultural Sciences-Soil Microbiology) and C.Sc. in Biological Sciences from Garyounis University, Benghazi, Libya, Gödöllő University of Agricultural Sciences and Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest, Hungary, respectively. Also, he received the PhD in Biological Sciences, Doctor Habilitation Degree in Environmental Sciences as well as the Professor degree from Szent István University (Gödöllő, Hungary). Also, he received the University Doctor Degree in Natural Sciences from Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest). Prof. Hamuda was awarded many times by different organizations.

Prof. Dr. Jeyraj Selvaraj

Professor Ts. Dr. Jeyraj Selvaraj received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree from Multimedia University, Malaysia, in 2002, the M.Sc. degree in power electronics and drives jointly from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham and the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K., in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2009. He is currently a professor and deputy executive director of University Malaya Power Energy Dedicated Advanced Centre (UMPEDAC), University of Malaya. He is also a member of IEEE, IEM and a member of working group committee on Photovoltaic Standards of Department of Standards Malaysia. With the experience in solar energy fields more than 15 years, he has monitored more than 75 onsite inverter tests under the FiT, LSS and NEM scheme in Malaysia and published more than 70 high impact journals, 50 conference papers and 4 book chapters. He is one of the recipients of NAM research training fellowship for young scientist and Royal Academy Engineering UK’s Leaders in Innovation Fellowship in 2016 and 2017 respectively. In 2019 he was awarded the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme Fellowship followed by Asian Universities Alliance Scholarship in 2020.

Prof. Dr. Leong Wai Yie

IR Prof. Dr. Leong Wai Yie received her PhD and Bachelor's (Hons I) in Electrical Engineering from The University of Queensland, Australia, in 2005 and 2000 respectively. She has authored 10 book series on innovations in Electronics and Biomedical Engineering. She currently serves as the Immediate Past Chair of IET Malaysia, Council Member of IET UK, Vice President of IEM (2020–2022), and Vice President of INWES (2020–2023). She is also actively involved in the Women in Engineering Committee of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO). Prof. Leong has been recognized as a Top Research Scientist in Malaysia and was honored with the 2023 INWES Distinguished Woman in Engineering Award for her outstanding contributions to engineering and leadership in the global community.

Prof. Gilles Jacquemod

Gilles Jacquemod graduated from ICPI (CPE) Lyon, and received MSc degree (DEA) in microelectronics from Ecole Centrale Lyon in 1986. He received the Ph.D. degree in integrated electronics from INSA Lyon, in 1989. From 1990 to 2000, he worked at LEOM, Ecole Centrale Lyon, as an Associate Professor, on analog integrated circuit design and behavioral modeling of mixed domain systems. He was also involved in the application of signal processing and communication systems. In 2000, he joined the LEAT laboratory and the Ecole Polytechnique of Nice-Sophia Antipolis University as full professor. Since 2010, he is with EpOC research team (URE UNS 006). His primary research interests include analog integrated circuit design and behavioral modeling of mixed domain systems. He is also involved in RF design applied to wireless communication. He is director of the CNFM PACA pole. He is President of the CIM-PACA Design Platform. He was advisor more than 30 PhD students. He is author and co-author of more than 250 journal and conference papers, and holds 4 patents.

Prof. Rongming Wang

Prof. Wang Rongming, born in June 1969, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the University of Science and Technology Beijing. He is a candidate for the National Hundred Thousand Talents Program, has been awarded the honorary title of "Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions", enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council, is an Elsevier Highly Cited Scholar in China, and a Leading Scholar of Beijing University of Science and Technology. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in science from Peking University in 1991 and 1994, and his doctorate in engineering from the Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials in 1997. In 2000, he conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Materials Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of Israel, and was a visiting scholar at Lawrence National Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2004 to 2005. From 2005 to 2015, he served as a professor at the School of Physics, Beihang University, a "Blue Sky Scholar" Distinguished Professor, and the head of the "Blue Sky" Innovation Team. He was the Dean of the School of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Science and Technology Beijing and the Executive Vice President of the Fusion Innovation Institute. He is currently the Director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Magneto-optical Composite Materials and Interface Science, the Team Leader of the Beijing Materials Gene Engineering High-precision Innovation Center, and a member of the Science, Technology, and Health Committee of the 15th Central Committee of the China Democratic League, a member of the Science and Technology Professional Committee of the 16th Beijing Municipal Committee of the China Democratic League, and the Chairman of the Beijing University of Science and Technology Branch of the China Democratic League. Prof. Ming Hung Wong

Professor Wong Ming-hung was Emeritus Professor at the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). He had been appointed as Chair Professor of Biology from 1990 until August 2013 and had served as Head of Department of Biology of HKBU from 1986 to 2004. Professor Wong is an outstanding academic and leader in Environmental Science and ecology as evidenced by his prodigious output of scientific publications. He has published over 540 refereed research articles (SCI), 32 book chapters, and edited 25 books/journal issues and filed 4 patents. He is currently the most cited Chinese scientist in the world under Environmental Science (ISI Web of Knowledge). His major research areas include environment and human health, and remediation of contaminated sites. At present, he is Editor-in-chief of Environmental Geochemistry and Health (Springer) and Book Series Editor (Urbanization, Industrialization and the Environment) of CRC Press. His reputation has been widely recognised internationally and capped by receiving two DSc Degrees awarded by the University of Durham, UK and the University of Strathclyde, UK in 1992 and 2004 respectively.

Constantin Voloşencu is a prominent Professor in the Department of Automation and Applied Informatics at the Politehnica University of Timişoara, Romania. Prof. Mark Bomberg

Mark Bomberg, D. Sc (Eng) of Warsaw U, Poland, and Technology D. of Lund U, Sweden, is a Research Professor at Mechanical and Aeronautical Department. of Clarkson U., Potsdam, NY, Visiting Prof. At Cracow TU, Poland, Former Prof. of McMaster U, Hamilton, Canada, and International Prof. Tongji U, Shanghai, China. Prof. Hengyun Zhang

Professor Zhang Hengyun, Ph.D. obtained his doctorate from Nanyang Technological University and is currently a Professor in the School of Mechanical and Production Engineering at Shanghai University of Engineering Science. His research focuses on heat transfer and thermal management, with particular expertise in thermoelectric cooling, electronic packaging, and advanced thermal characterization of 2.5D and multi-chip module systems. Professor Zhang has authored numerous SCI and EI indexed publications in leading international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, International Journal of Refrigeration, and Applied Thermal Engineering. His work on thermoelectric coolers and electronic package thermal design has contributed significantly to improving cooling performance and reliability in advanced electronic systems. He has also received recognition for his research excellence, including an Outstanding Paper Award at ICEPT.

Dr Priyadharshini is an Assistant Professor at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, INDIA. She has received her doctorate and Master of Engineering from Anna University in 2024 and 2019 respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo, Japan. He is also a Visiting Researcher with Tokyo University of Science, Japan. Dr. Nasimuddin

His research interests include multilayered microstrip-based structures, millimeter-wave antennas, ultrawideband antennas, and metamaterials-based microstrip antennas. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.

Prof. Jinlong MA

Jinlong MA is a Professor at School of Architecture, and Vice President of APEC Sustainable Energy Center (APSEC), Tianjin University. At APSEC, he contributes to setting the research directions, leads the team completing the tasks assigned by the supervisory agencies (including National Energy Administration and APEC Energy Working Group), develops technical advisory services, executes research and advisory projects, and represents the Center in international and domestic arenas. Jinlong has extensive experience in energy and electricity sector, and at different stage of his career held senior managerial and technical positions at international technical advisory and engineering firms (DNV, WSP, SMEC), global energy corporation (ENGIE), R&D and academic institutions (CEPRI, AIT). His expertise encompasses energy system planning, renewables, power sector development, energy management and energy efficiency, electricity market, climate change mitigation, energy transition solutions and low carbon development. He has hands-on experience in most Asia and Pacific countries’ energy sector, having advised national and local government authorities, private sectors, bilateral development agencies (France, Norway, and Australia), and regional and international organizations such as European Union, UN Agriculture and Food Organization, Asia Development Bank, and ASEAN. One of main research themes currently at APSEC, of which he leads, is Energy Transition Solutions in the APEC member economies. Jinlong Ma’s qualifications include PhD in Energy Economics from the University of Melbourne, Master’s degree in Energy Studies from Asian Institute Technology, and B.Eng. David W. Yarbrough is V. President of R&D Services, Inc. a testing and consulting company located in Watertown, TN. He is a Professor of Chemical Engineering, emeritus at Tennessee Technological University having retired in 2002 as Professor and Chair of Chemical Engineer, a retired Research Staff Member (part time) of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and a Fellow: the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the Tennessee Academy of Science, and the International Thermal Conductivity Conference. Yarbrough is a graduate of Georgia Tech (BChE 1960, MS 1961, PhD 1966).

Daniel Aeschbacher

Daniel Aeschbacher is Swiss. He studied architecture, holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Industrial Design from San Jose State University California (SJSU), a Master in Environmental Technology and Management, post graduate degrees in University Teaching and Societal Transition from DRIFT Transition Academy, Amsterdam. Between 1978-1980 he worked as architect with Max Bill, from 1980-1989 he studied Industrial Design at SJSU and worked with Hartmus Esslinger at Frogdesign in California. 1989, Ettore Sottsass, Milano Italy, invited Aeschbacher to work with him on numerous avantgarde projects as architect and designer. From 1990 to 1995, he was invited as guest lecturer at Europe Art Center College of Design in Switzerland. In 1991 he opened his design consultancy in Switzerland, practiced Product Design and Design Management, founded with partners Eurodesign in France, collaborated with partners in Zurich Switzerland and in the Silicon Valley. In 1995 he took on the mandate as design Manager at Plantronics Santa Cruz California and later at Hewlett-Packard, Grenoble. For his design works he received several international awards. From 2001 till 2022, Daniel Aeschbacher held teaching mandates at the Schule für Gestaltung Bern (SfGB), joined Design Management International (DMI) at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) in 2004. Until 2022 he was core team member and co-managed the curriculum development. As professor at DMI he has been in charge of all modules and courses about design, sustainability and circularity. In April 2022 Daniel Aeschbacher became a member of the epeaswitzerland team and network, in charge of professional educational modules. Prof. Ronghai Qu

Prof. Ronghai Qu, Fellow IEEE, Fellow of China Electrotechnical Society, received his B.E. and M.S. degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1993 and 1996, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Uniersity of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. He had been with the General Electric (GE) Global Research Center, Niskayuna, NY as a Senior Electrical Engineer with the Electrical Machines and Drives Laboratory from 2003 to 2010. He was the recipient of 11 GE GRC awards including EPST Technical Achievement Award, Outstanding Teamwork and Management Award. In 2010 he joined Huazhong University of Science & Technology, Wuhan, China. He is currently director of State and Province Joint Engineering Research Center of Novel Electrical Machines, and director of Center for Advanced Electrical Machines and Drives (CAEMD). From 2012 to 2016, he served as deputy dean of school of Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He is currently a member of ICEM NPO AdCom and the chair of IEEE Industry Application Society (IAS) Wuhan Chapter. His research interests include Design and Drive of Electrical Machines. He has published over 400 technical papers including 14 IEEE award papers and holds over 170 patents. Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Hariri Arifin

Assoc. Prof. Dr Mohd Hariri Arifin is a reputable Geophysics lecturer at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) with over 10 years of experience in teaching and research. He gained his PhD in Geophysics Exploration at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He has been a Board of Geologists Malaysia, PG29 member since 2016. His passion and dedication to research have led him to publish almost 60 articles and 313 citations on early May 2025. Dr Hariri teaches a few courses such as Geophysics, Engineering Geophysics and Environmental Geophysics for undergraduate students and supervises postgraduate students. Dr Hariri has extensive experience in consulting multiple projects of his expertise such as assessing rock slope and tunnel stability, and landslide problems. His effort and contribution in the geology field widen as he has gained numerous grants for groundwater study, environmental site assessment, and sustainability of geothermal resources. He is also President of the Malaysia Geothermal Association (MyGA) & Deputy Dean for Industry and Community partnership at his faculty.
